Climate-Ready Buildings: Integrating Sustainability and Resilience
5:45pm - 6:30pm
Keynote Address
Explore a distinct perspective on climate-ready and resilient buildings, emphasizing the real-world impacts and costs of extreme weather on homes and communities. Dr. Bonada will showcase practical tools and resources to strengthen resilience to flooding, wildfire, and extreme heat—filling a critical gap often overlooked in traditional sustainable building discussions. After all, a building cannot be truly sustainable if it cannot withstand the climate extremes it will face over its lifetime.
