Scaling Up Residential Retrofits: Building Capacity for Climate-Ready Homes

3:00pm - 3:45pm

Workshop Session D

This workshop explores the growing demand for residential deep energy retrofits and the need to build workforce capacity in Alberta and across Canada. Using a structured roadmap, we’ll walk through the key stages of a retrofit—from assessment to implementation—highlighting decision points and best practices. Participants will experience a live demonstration of the Retrofit Canada repository, a centralized hub of case studies and best practices. The session will also briefly highlight SAIT’s newly launched deep energy retrofit training program. Through interactive discussion, attendees will gain practical insights to support retrofit adoption and workforce development in their communities.
